Thomas Evans

Mechanical Engineer at RayGen

Thomas Evans has worked in a variety of roles in the engineering industry since 2016. In 2016, they completed a Summer Internship at Core Builders Composites Limited, where they were responsible for the production of bespoke carbon composite parts for Americas Cup yachts, assisting with workshop maintenance, and interacting with other firms on behalf of the company. In 2017, they worked as a Research Assistant at the Centre for Advanced Composite Materials. In 2018, they completed a Study and Research Internship at McLaren Automotive Ltd. From 2019 to 2022, they worked at Octave Acoustics as a Project Engineer and Graduate Engineer. Currently, they are employed as a Mechanical Engineer at RayGen.

Thomas Evans attended Wentworth College from 2008 to 2014, where they earned Cambridge A levels. Thomas then attended The University of Auckland from 2015 to 2018, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Engineering Science.
