Mark Hebert

Vice President, Land Resources

Mark Hebert is an experienced forestry professional with a robust background in land resource management. Currently serving as Vice President of Land Resources and previously as Vice President of Eastern Forest Resources at Rayonier since October 2008, Mark leads a team of 54 professionals overseeing 1.3 million acres of timberland across several Southeastern states. Past roles include Resource Unit Leader, managing 420,000 acres, and Manager of Silviculture Research and Technology Transfer, where Mark directed silviculture research activities. Prior to Rayonier, Mark held positions at Timberstar Southwest as Operations Manager, Hancock Forest Management as Forester, and International Paper in various roles related to forestry operations. Mark holds a Bachelor’s degree in Forest Science from Louisiana State University and a Master’s degree in Forest Ecology from Texas A&M University.
