Trevor Host

Trevor Host is an accomplished Remote Sensing Manager in Research & Innovation at Rayonier since July 2019, specializing in the development and deployment of applications for remotely sensed data in forest management, particularly through lidar-based terrain and canopy metrics. Prior to this role, Trevor served as a Research Scientist at the University of Minnesota from September 2015 to July 2019, focusing on remote sensing applications for forest inventory, where responsibilities included project management and product validation. Trevor's academic background includes a Master of Science in Geospatial Analysis from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, complemented by earlier research experiences at the University of Wisconsin Sea Grant Institute and the Natural Resources Research Institute.
