Chip Marshall has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Chip is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at RaySecur Inc., where they are responsible for overseeing the development of breakthrough imaging technology based on millimeter waves. Prior to this role, Chip worked as a Principal at PeakFlash Consulting, providing business and product development services to emerging technology companies.

Chip also has a strong background in biotechnology and life sciences. Chip served as the CEO of RedShiftBio, where they led the company's successful pivot into the protein therapeutic biologic instrumentation market. Before that, they worked as the COO at RedShift Systems Corp., where they played a key role in the development of low-cost handheld thermal imaging systems.

Earlier in their career, Chip held leadership positions at Aura Communications, a venture capital-backed company focused on wireless integrated circuits, and Lockheed Martin's IR Imaging Systems division, where they were the Director of Uncooled Infrared Products. Chip was responsible for securing funding and leading the development of uncooled microbolometer technology, resulting in the successful commercialization of Honeywell's technology.

Chip Marshall attended Simsbury High School, where they completed their secondary education. After graduating high school, they enrolled in Amherst College. At Amherst, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physics and graduated with Summa Cum Laude honors. Following their undergraduate studies, Chip went on to study at Rice University, where they pursued a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering focused on Electro-Optics and Lasers. Finally, Chip attended Northeastern University, where they obtained their Master of Business Administration degree with a specialization in High Technology.
