Gemma Price

Gemma Price is the Head of Prevention and Education at Raystede Centre for Animal Welfare, where they direct the organisational strategy and have developed a significant program to achieve strategic goals. With a background in teaching and a passion for animal welfare, they have established themselves as a thought leader in animal welfare education, focusing on human behavior change to enhance the lives of companion animals. Gemma earned a Zoology degree from Cardiff University and furthered their teaching qualifications at Sussex University. Prior to their current role, they held various positions, including Education Officer at both The Thames Explorer Trust and Vauxhall City Farm, along with teaching and lecturing roles.
