Jonathan Chu

Jonathan Chu is a Senior Principal Software Engineer at Raytheon Technologies, specializing in algorithms for simulation and modeling of space-based projects and developing code libraries for data processing using MATLAB and Python. Formerly, Jonathan served as a Principal Software Engineer at NASA/Caltech Jet Propulsion Laboratory and has extensive experience in software engineering, developing REST APIs, and custom software tools across various organizations, including HyperSpectralAPD and NASA. With a strong background in mechanical engineering from Lockheed Martin and L-3 Communications, Jonathan has also engaged in research at UCLA's Heat Transfer Laboratory. Jonathan holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from UCLA.
