Daniel Balson is a government affairs, advocacy, and policy communications manager with over ten years of experience in both the private and non-profit sectors. They have a proven track record in building cross-functional teams, developing coalitions, and engaging with policymakers, having testified before Congress and lobbied on critical issues. Daniel has held prominent roles at organizations such as Amnesty International USA, where they directed efforts on sensitive issues like armed conflict and humanitarian crises. They currently serve as the Director of Public Engagement at Razom and are pursuing education at Cornell University. Fluent in Spanish and Russian, Daniel also has a background in public health, economic reform, and human rights.
