Taras Repytskyi

Taras Repytskyi has a diverse work experience. Taras is currently working as a Council Member at Lviv city council since April 2023. Prior to this, they were a Manager at Razom starting from March 2022. Taras also worked as a Consultant at IOM Ukraine from September 2021. Taras Repytskyi founded Sykhiv Media in September 2017 and was the Founder of the company. Taras also worked as a Facilitator at American Councils for International Education from October 2017. Before that, Taras was a Co-Founder and Head of the board at Society Initiatives Institute since May 2013. Taras served as the Director of Strategic Development at the Football federation of Lviv Region from March 2018 to April 2019. Taras Repytskyi was a Program Officer at Global Communities from January 2017 to March 2018. Earlier, they worked as a Grants Manager at Hromadske.Lviv / Громадське.Львів, where they were involved in fundraising and grants administration. Taras worked with grants from USAID and Open Society Foundation. Taras Repytskyi also served as the President of CESAA at EIUC - European Inter-University Centre for Human Rights and Democratization from September 2015 to January 2017.

Taras Repytskyi's education history is as follows:

From 2006 to 2011, Taras Repytskyi attended the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, where they obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree with a focus on Public Service and Administration.

In 2009, they also attended the Military Academy after Petro Sahaidachnyi and obtained the rank of Second lieutenant, specializing in Homeland Security.

In 2012 to 2014, Taras Repytskyi studied at Yerevan State University, earning a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Human Rights and Democratization.

From 2013 to 2015, they pursued further studies at the Univerzita Mateja Bela v Banskej Bystrici, obtaining a Master of Arts (M.A.) with honours in Political Science and International Relations.

In 2015, Taras Repytskyi attended the European Academy of Diplomacy, where they received a Certificate of graduation from the Visegrad school of political studies.

That same year, they also attended the Visegrad Academy of Political Leadership to enhance their understanding of the Visegrad countries and develop personal skills.

Lastly, from 2017 to 2019, Taras Repytskyi pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in International Relations and Affairs at the Univerzita Mateja Bela v Banskej Bystrici.
