Daniel Smith

Daniel Smith has been working in the tech industry since 2011. Daniel began their career at Rishtec as an Embedded Software Developer. In 2011, they also started their PhD studies at the University of Reading. In 2017, they joined RazorSecure as a Staff Engineer and Team Lead. At RazorSecure, they were involved in developing the Security Gateway product which helps protect trains from malicious activity. Daniel has strong experience in Linux admin, VMs, docker, Linuxkit, and Bash/Rust/Python.

Daniel Smith attended the University of Reading from 2007 to 2011 and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Cybernetics & Artificial Intelligence. Daniel then continued their studies at the University of Reading from 2011 to 2016, earning a Doctor of Philosophy in Cybernetics.
