Rick Witter

Rick Witter has worked in the software industry for over 25 years. Rick began their career in 1994 as a Sales Engineer and Consultant for Performix/Pure Software/Rational. Rick then moved to Performix Inc. as a Systems Engineer in the same year. In 1997, they joined Information Integration as a Consultant. From 1999 to 2004, they worked as a Senior Developer at Network Solutions. Rick then joined Platinum Solutions as a Senior Consultant in 2004. In 2009, they became a Senior Software Engineer at Near Infinity Corporation, where they managed the migration of a multi-tiered application into an Amazon Web Service ecosystem. In 2016, they joined RazorX2 as a Senior Developer where they wrote a new high visibility single-page app while on a small team of MEAN (Mongo, Express, Angular, Node) developers and led implementation of various TinyMCE (web-based browser) plugins. Rick also maintained and improved a variety of customer-facing applications written in a variety of technologies such as Ruby/Rails, Elasticsearch, Javascript (Angular), Mongo, and Solr.

Rick Witter attended Columbia University from 1986 to 1990 and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
