Barbara Hermann

Barbara Hermann is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in sustainable product innovation and environmental management. Currently serving as the Head of Sustainable Product Innovation and Sustainable Innovation & Scope 3 Reporting Lead at Reckitt since June 2017, Barbara advises product development teams on integrating sustainability into brand strategy and reports on sustainability targets. Prior to this, Barbara was the Sustainable Product Innovation Governance Lead at PepsiCo, where oversight of the governance program and environmental assessments in Western Europe were key responsibilities. Previous roles include lecturer at Wageningen University and an internship at BAUM Consult focused on environmental management. Barbara holds a PhD in Biopolymers from Utrecht University, an MSc in Environmental Science from Wageningen University & Research, and a BSc in Environmental and Resource Management from Brandenburgische Technische Universität Cottbus-Senftenberg.
