John Wasonga

John Wasonga has extensive experience in research and development leadership within the consumer goods sector, currently serving as the R&D Operations Director for Europe and ANZ at Reckitt since October 2003. With a proven track record in various significant roles, including R&D Director for multiple product categories and regional managerial positions, John has developed expertise in hygiene and product maintenance. Prior to Reckitt, John held multiple positions at Unilever from 1998 to 2003, focusing on product and process development in detergents. Earlier career experience includes a role as Production Supervisor at Eveready Batteries East Africa. John holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Moi University and a Master's in Business Administration from The University of Melbourne, complemented by executive education from Cambridge Judge Business School and INSEAD, focusing on gender diversity.
