Michael Pickersgill

Michael Pickersgill is a Senior Advisor in Global Medical Affairs at Reckitt, leading global medical strategies and developing clinical programs for OTC pharmaceuticals and medical devices. Previously, they served as a Product Claims Evaluation Associate at Smith+Nephew, leveraging extensive literature evaluations to support evidence generation for marketing claims. Michael began their career in academic research as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at The University of Hull, where they focused on cancer research. They hold a BSc and an MBiol in Biology with Molecular Bioscience from The University of Hull, achieving honors in both degrees. Michael is also a passionate coach and mental health first aider, committed to supporting colleagues and students in the medical sciences field.
