Ruth Simmons

Ruth Simmons is a dedicated and authentic scientific leader with over 10 years of experience in the industry. Ruth began their career as a Placement Student at Vernalis, contributing to the Oncology cell biology team. They later worked as a Postdoctoral Scientist at the University of Oxford before advancing to roles at Immunocore, where Ruth led pre-clinical research efforts in evaluating new therapeutic molecules. Currently, Ruth serves as the Head of Allergy, Immunity & Microbiome Research at Reckitt Mead Johnson, demonstrating a strong commitment to advancing scientific knowledge in their field. Ruth holds a Master's degree in Biochemistry from the University of Bath and a PhD from the University of Oxford.
