Sergio Rivera is a Costa Rican geologist with over 30 years of experience as an environmental scientist in Latin America and the U.S. Currently serving as the Head of Environmental Compliance at RECKITT, Rivera leads regional environmental efforts, focusing on environmental auditing, risk reduction, and eco-efficiency programs. Rivera has managed multi-million-dollar EIS/EA projects for various organizations, including the U.S. Department of Energy and UNOPS. With a strong background in environmental management systems and extensive training experience, Rivera has contributed to numerous sectors, including mining, oil, and pharmaceuticals. They hold a BSc in Geology from Universidad de Costa Rica and a Master in Project Management from Universidad para la Cooperación Internacional.
