Umut Akbas is a seasoned commercial leader with 18 years of global experience in fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), pharmaceuticals, and consumer electronics. They have a proven track record in P&L growth, strategic market expansion, and team leadership across multiple regions, including Turkey, South Africa, and Latin America. Previously, Umut held key positions at Procter & Gamble and Reckitt, where they managed cross-functional teams and drove significant revenue and profit targets. Currently, Umut focuses on leveraging their extensive expertise in general management to foster business growth and develop future leaders. They hold a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Bilkent University.
