Lorie McCarthy

Lorie McCarthy is a seasoned professional in the banking and consulting sectors, currently serving as VP of Banking at RBCx since June 2021. Prior to this role, Lorie was VP of Relationship Management in Technology & Innovation Banking at RBC Royal Bank from August 2017 to June 2021, and previously held the position of Commercial Account Manager focused on Knowledge-Based Industries. Lorie's career also includes significant experience at the Business Development Bank of Canada, where responsibilities spanned from Partner in Consulting to Market Impact Manager, providing business coaching and advisory services to small and medium businesses between May 2006 and March 2017. Earlier experience at Saint Mary's University Business Development Centre involved supervising consulting projects and students. Lorie holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Commerce with concentrations in Finance and Human Resource Management from Saint Mary's University.
