Michael Tayler is an Associate Vice President at RBCx, where they help early stage technology companies scale by providing strategic banking solutions. As a three-time Olympian in Canoe/Kayak Slalom, Michael represented Canada at the London 2012, Rio 2016, and Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games while balancing an intensive training schedule with their academic pursuits. Previously, they served as a Communications Advisor at RBC, producing internal communications and managing various marketing projects. Michael also contributed as an Athlete Representative for Canoe Kayak Canada, advocating for national team athletes and assisting in key decisions regarding team selection and funding. They hold a Bachelor of Arts Honours in History and Law from Carleton University and a Graduate Diploma in Business from Smith School of Business at Queen's University.
