Karim Bachar

Karim Bachar has extensive experience in sports coaching and local governance, currently serving as the Headcoach at Futsal Topsport Antwerpen since August 2001, while also fulfilling roles as a sports and youth worker. In addition, Karim holds the position of Vice-Mayor for Social Integration and Equal Rights and serves as a City Councilor in Stad Antwerpen since January 2007. Karim is also the Headcoach of the Belgium national Futsal A team and part of the technical staff for both the Belgium national Futsal women and youth teams at the Royal Belgian Football Association since August 2016. Previous experience includes serving as a skill coach for K. Beerschot V.A. and a technical coach for KRC Genk. Karim began as a futsal player, with a career that includes stints at ZVC Berchem and the Royal Belgian Football Association.
