Michaël Schockaert

Micha Roon is an experienced technology leader currently serving as the Head of Engineering at The Hashgraph Association since May 2023, where the focus is on supporting innovation projects through training and mentorship. As the owner and founder of managination since July 2005, Micha aims to enhance the software development landscape by making it more dynamic and reliable. Previous roles include Head of Web3 Engineering at NOUMENA DIGITAL AG, Chief Technology Officer at bonq, and Chief Innovation Officer at Energy Web, where Micha contributed to decentralized infrastructure development for various sectors. Additionally, Micha has held advisory and board positions with organizations such as the IIB Council and PioneerVentures.io, while also contributing as a blockchain developer for Sweetbridge, Inc. and as a blockchain advisor for SwissBorg. Micha holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Lausanne and completed specialized education programs at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and RKLS.
