Werner Martens

Werner Martens currently serves as the Head of Performance and Football Fitness Coach for Kerala Blasters Football Club since July 2021. Martens is also a consultant for the India U17 and U16 National Teams, contributing to their respective SAFF Championship victories. Additional consultancy roles include working with FK Panevezys, assisting in their Champions League qualification efforts, and advising KV Oostende and K.F.C. Dessel Sport. Martens has been actively involved in coaching education as an Ambassador for the Association Physical Coaches Football, a Coach Educator for the Royal Belgian Football Association, and a Docent at the Vlaamse Trainersschool. Educational credentials include certifications from the World Football Academy and UEFA coaching licenses. Previous experience includes serving as Assistant Football Coach for AS Trenčín Football Club.
