R•BITTT is a Canadian technology company licensing a new logistics model for transporting and storing heavy bitumen.

Heavy bitumen is naturally solid and ultimately used in solid infrastructure products such as roads and roofing. Yet today’s logistics system forces this material into a heated or diluted liquid simply to move it, creating significant cost, emissions, and operational constraints across the supply chain.

R•BITTT solves this problem through a patented process that transitions heavy bitumen into a stable solid form for storage and transport without diluent or continuous heating. The material can then be re-liquefied at the destination when required.

Rather than building and operating logistics infrastructure itself, R•BITTT licenses its technology to producers, refiners, logistics operators, and infrastructure partners worldwide.

This licensing model enables rapid deployment across existing rail, port, and refinery systems while supporting global market access for heavy bitumen.

Through licensed transition facilities and technology partnerships, R•BITTT aims to:
• Eliminate diluent requirements in heavy bitumen logistics
• Remove continuous heating across storage and transport systems
• Reduce emissions tied to traditional bitumen movement
• Expand rail and marine export pathways
• Enable scalable global deployment through licensed infrastructure

R•BITTT represents a Made-in-Canada innovation creating a new industrial category: solid-state heavy-bitumen logistics.
