Michael K.

Michael K. has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and web/mobile applications development. Michael started their career in 2007 as a Cyber Systems Operator with the Oregon Air National Guard and then moved on to the Idaho Air National Guard in 2010, where they held various roles including Cyber Systems Operator, Maintenance Management Analyst/Database Manager, and Cyber Systems Operator again. In 2017, Michael joined Amalgamated Sugar Company LLC as a Web & Mobile Applications Developer, where they worked until 2019. Michael then worked as a Web and Mobile Applications Consultant at TEKsystems from 2019 to 2020. In 2020, they joined the Air Force Materiel Command as a Software Engineer, and subsequently worked at Sev1Tech LLC as a React / Ruby on Rails Developer until 2023. Currently, Michael works as a Software Engineer at RBR-Technologies.

Michael K. obtained their Associate of Science in Information Technology from the Community College of the Air Force from 2010 to 2012. Michael then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from Purdue Global from 2012 to 2017. In 2018, Michael received a Certification in Web Development from BoiseCodeWorks. Michael has also obtained several additional certifications, including a CompTIA Security+ ce Certification in 2014 and a Professional Education - Full-Stack Web Development Certificate from the University of Utah in 2019. Most recently, in 2023, Michael completed multiple online courses, such as the Learn Python 3 Course, Learn TypeScript: Complex Types Course, Learn TypeScript: Functions Course, Learn TypeScript: Fundamentals Course, Learn TypeScript: Type Narrowing Course, and Learn TypeScript: Union Types Course from Codecademy. Michael also gained expertise in User Experience for Web Designers and Web Programming Foundations through LinkedIn, and received training in SharePoint 2016 Essential Training from Lynda.com.
