Yan Vermette is a seasoned mechanical designer with extensive experience in mechanical engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Mechanical Designer at RBR since May 2022, Yan previously contributed as a Mechanical Designer at Canopy Growth Corporation from February 2018 to April 2022. Prior roles include Manager of Engineering at Arkalumen Inc. and a CAD Laboratory Assistant at Polytechnique de Montréal, where guidance was provided to students on various mechanical design tools. Early career experiences include engineering co-op positions at Air Canada and Manson Isolation and contributions as a Mechanical Engineering Technician at IMAC Inc. and the Canadian Space Agency. Yan holds a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal, as well as a Technical Diploma from CEGEP - Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu.
