Luke Cooper

Luke Cooper is an experienced Systems Engineer currently supporting the Challenger 2 LEP program at Rheinmetall BAE Systems Land since January 2022. This role focuses on developing and managing system architectures for the £800 million project that will deliver 148 Challenger 3 tanks to the British Army. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior System Engineer at General Dynamics UK Limited, where responsibilities involved specifying instrumentation requirements and integrating specialized infrastructures for Armoured Fighting Vehicles. Additionally, Luke has a solid background with the British Army, where roles ranged from Electronics Technician to Senior Electronic Technician, maintaining and servicing various military vehicles and systems. Luke received education at the Defence School of Electronic and Mechanical Engineering between 2006 and 2012.
