Negar Maghsoodi

Negar Maghsoodi is an accomplished medical consultant with extensive experience in chemical pathology. Currently serving as a Medical Consultant at Brighton & Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust since September 2023, Negar has also held significant roles including Regional Representative of College Council for South England and Clinical Biochemistry Representative for Kent, Surrey, and Sussex at the Royal College of Pathologists since March 2019. As a Visiting Senior Lecturer at Brighton and Sussex Medical School since January 2019, Negar contributes to the education of future healthcare professionals. With a career beginning in NHS in September 2016, Negar served as a Consultant Chemical Pathologist and Medical Consultant at Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust until September 2023, and led the Chemical Pathology Department at SASH in September 2016. Educational qualifications include a Fellowship from the Royal College of Pathologists in Chemical Pathology, complemented by training at London Deanery and UCL.
