Stephanie Thomas

Stephanie Thomas is a highly experienced medical microbiologist and educator currently serving as Deputy Director at the UK Health Security Agency since June 2024. In addition, Stephanie holds the position of Royal College of Pathologists (UK) Country Advisor for the MENA region and works as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the United Arab Emirates University. Previous roles include Clinical Director at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust and Consultant Medical Microbiologist at both Public Health Scotland and Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. Stephanie's extensive education includes degrees from the University of St Andrews, University of Dundee, the University of Manchester, Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, and professional qualifications from the Royal College of Pathologists and Cardiff University School of Law & Politics.
