Blair Armstrong has been working in the field of developmental disabilities for over 15 years. Blair started their career as a certified RDI program consultant and autism consultant with Kids Matter Inc. in 2007. In this role, they provided training, support, and education to families and individuals who faced a wide range of developmental difficulties. Blair then went on to work as a positive behavioural support coordinator and behavioural and educational consultant with Johl Consulting in 2003. In this role, they applied behaviour analysis and systems change perspectives to intensely social problems created by behaviours such as self-injury, aggression, property destruction, pica, defiance, and disruption.

Most recently, Blair has been working as a professional training supervisor at RDIconnect. In this role, they provide training and support to professionals who work with individuals with developmental disabilities. Blair is passionate about helping others and making a difference in the lives of those they work with.

Blair Armstrong has a PhD in Infant and Early Childhood Development with an emphasis in Mental Health from Fielding Graduate University. Blair also has a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Infant Mental Health and Early Childhood Developmental Disorders from the Interdisciplinary Council on Development and Learning. Blair has a Bachelor of Science from Lake Superior State University. Blair is certified by RDIconnect in Relationship Development Intervention.
