Jon Gilley is an experienced farm manager and agronomist with a robust background in agricultural support and management. Currently serving as Farm Manager at R.D. Offutt Farms since February 2009, Jon has built and developed a foundation seed potato farm. Previously, Jon held the position of Agronomist at CSS Farms from October 2005 to December 2008, leading a team to provide agronomy support for 6,000 acres of chip potatoes. Jon co-owned and managed Agro Engineering from June 1993 to December 2005, offering consulting services including irrigation evaluation and integrated pest management across multiple states. Early career experience includes serving as a Hillside Agriculture Extensionist with the U.S. Peace Corps, where support was provided for soil conservation practices. Jon holds a degree in Agronomy, Soils from Virginia Tech.
