Jan Dekens

Jan Dekens has extensive experience in the automotive industry, holding various roles from project leadership to managerial positions. Notably, Jan served as the Chairman of the Works Council at Webasto Product International from January 2008 to March 2016, overseeing employee representation. In addition, Jan has led projects for innovative car sunroof systems and marine equipment, managing all aspects of timing, cost, and quality. Prior roles include Coordinator of Engine Management Systems at DAF Trucks NV, where Jan defined requirements and conducted software testing for North American engines, and a position as Project Manager Automotive at Betap Tufting B.V. Currently, Jan is an inspector at RDW, having previously worked as an OE NPI Program Manager at Brink Group, where responsibilities included customer project management from nomination through production startup. Jan holds a Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering from HAN University of Applied Sciences.
