Thijmen Dam

Thijmen Dam is a Software Engineer at RDW since January 2024 and previously worked as a Researcher on the EVICT project at the European Research Council from January 2021 to April 2024, focusing on international housing law and automated analysis of legal judgments. Prior experience includes a role as a Software Engineer at Harvest Digital, responsible for full stack development and AWS deployments, along with an internship in Data Engineering & Development. Additionally, Thijmen served as a Research Assistant at Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, developing a tool for extracting eviction-related court cases. An accomplished musician, Thijmen was the bassist for the band Sorry John, performing at over 40 shows, and worked as a Web Developer/Web Designer at WebNexus. Thijmen has a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Information Sciences from the University of Groningen and obtained a VWO diploma with a focus on Nature & Health and Nature & Technology.
