In ten years' time, it will be unthinkable to open a beverage can without CanShield- or to drink from it

Re-Cap Solutions – a start-up company from Germany that is active in the research and development of sustainable and innovative closure systems for the packaging industry.
We have developed a patented closure solution for beverage cans, which not only sets new standards in terms of sustainability and functionality, but also raises the drinking experience for the consumer to a completely new level.

Our CanShield ® solution transforms commercially available beverage cans into resealable, hygienic and leak-proof containers without changing the familiar design or the known opening function of the beverage can. Also, the existing production lines do not have to be changed

The advantages:

- Completely new drinking experience: Consumers enjoy their drink in a more controlled way, dosed and without disturbing aluminum edges - almost like from the bottle, but with the iconic canned feeling.
- Increased hygiene: The closure reliably protects the can inlet against dirt, germs and contact contamination - especially on the go, in sports or on the go a clear added value.
- Resealability: Remaining quantities can be stored cleanly and consumed later - ideal for on the go, during sports or in the car.

There are also strategically highly interesting advantages for brand owners:
- Innovation on the can: CanShield ® enhances the beverage can functionally and emotionally. In this way, it remains relevant – at a time when consumers demand convenience, hygiene and environmental friendliness.
- No development risks: You only license - the entire development and patenting is completed.
- Brand differentiation in a homogeneous category: Set a strong innovation signal in the competition - through a visible and tangible product enhancement without a recipe change.
