Michael Harper

Michael Harper is a seasoned Chief Operating Officer and experienced strategy and capture executive with a focus on forestry, agriculture, defense, energy, and sustainability. Currently serving as the Interim Head of Strategy at Re-Genus since 2025, Michael has held various significant roles, including Capture Manager at Lockheed Martin for IAMD and SkyKeeper Programs. Previous positions include Critical Infrastructure Protection Lead and Weapons Research Lead at Lockheed Martin UK, where they were responsible for shaping strategy and developing business in critical sectors. Michael is also an investor in sustainable technologies and solutions and served on the Executive Board of the European Association for Storage of Energy from 2019 to 2020. They hold a BSc with honors in Mathematics from Sheffield University, completed in 1999.
