Jonathan Lim

Jonathan Lim, FCAS, MAAA, is an experienced insurance professional currently serving as Head of Underwriting at Re since February 2025. Previously, Jonathan held the position of Head of Reinsurance & Capital Management at Next Insurance from February 2022 to February 2025, where Jonathan played a pivotal role in developing a reinsurance program for a $1 billion startup, focusing on profitable growth. Prior to that, Jonathan was a Managing Director in the Credit & Guaranty Practice at Aon from April 2014 to February 2022, where Jonathan established a global mortgage reinsurance market with annual transactions exceeding $10 billion. Jonathan began the career as an Actuarial Intern at EY in mid-2012. Jonathan holds a Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Waterloo, obtained between 2010 and 2013.
