Reach & Rise is a national therapeutic youth mentoring program operated through the YMCA with the goal of helping kids and teens discover and grow their strengths. Founded in 1999 (came to Arkansas in 2013), the program is funded through a grant from the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention. Reach & Rise offers two types of mentoring - its traditional 1:1 program that matches one mentor to one child or teen and a group version that coordinates two mentors meeting with up to six youth at a time.
