Mark Jones

Mark Jones has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Mark currently holds the position of Head of Engineering - Data & Analytics at Reach plc since September 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Head of Technology - MarTech at The Very Group from April 2021 to August 2022. Before that, they served as the Head of Data at Financial Wellness Group from November 2019 to April 2021. Mark has also worked at Shop Direct as a Lead Solutions Architect and Senior Solutions Architect from September 2018 to November 2019. Mark has previous experience at companies like wejo Ltd, Vaulted UK Ltd, MOO, TravelSupermarket.com, IBM Global Business Services, and Moneysupermarket.com, where they held various roles related to technology, data management, and software development.

Mark Jones earned a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Software Engineering from the University of South Wales, where they attended from 1999 to 2003. Mark also holds additional certifications such as TOGAF 9 Certified from The Open Group obtained in 2016, Certified Talend Open Studio for Data Integration Consultant from Talend obtained in 2014, Business Analysis Foundation Certificate from ISEB obtained in 2010, and Level 2 Award in Team Leading from the Institute of Leadership & Management obtained in 2010.
