Peter Rickman

Peter Rickman has extensive experience in the field of journalism, beginning his career as an Abstractor at Reuters from 1986 to 1988. Following this role, Peter served as Sub Editor and Deputy Chief Sub Editor at Electronics Weekly for a brief period in 1988, then moved on to Auto Express as a Sub Editor until 1991. From 1991 to 2001, Peter worked at the Daily and Sunday Express in various capacities, including Sub Editor and Deputy Chief Sub Editor. Peter's longest tenure was at Reach plc, where from April 2001 to September 2020, roles included Assistant Night Editor at the Daily Mirror and Daily Express, Night Editor, and Deputy Night Editor at the Daily Express. Academically, Peter holds a Bachelor of Arts in French and English from Keele University (1982-1986) and a Diploma in French Language and Civilisation from The Sorbonne in Paris (1984-1985).
