David Galán

David Gál has extensive experience in humanitarian aid and international development, currently serving as the Chief Executive Director at Hungarian Baptist Aid since May 2000, where responsibilities have included the design, implementation, and monitoring of projects across numerous countries such as Afghanistan, Haiti, and Ukraine, along with participation in major disaster response operations. In January 2024, David Gál began a role as European Consortium Coordinator for the EU DEAR project RURAL VOICES 2030, focusing on engaging young rural European citizens in soil protection. Previous experience includes serving as a Program Assistant and Translator for The Alliance for SCP, supporting social and cultural programs in Hungary and Romania. David Gál holds a Master's degree in International Humanitarian Assistance from Fordham University and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Affairs from Kodolányi János University of Applied Sciences.
