Filip Filchev

Filip Filchev is a Lead Developer at D Aerospace, specializing in unmanned aerial systems, and serves as a Member of the U-SPACE and UAS group within the Ministry of Transport and Communications in Bulgaria. Filip also holds multiple roles including Machine Learning Engineer at KBC Global Services, Research and Development Engineer at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, and Embedded Developer at RoboClub.bg. Additionally, Filip contributes to UAV engineering services at International Armored Group, focusing on developing NDAA-compliant UAVs for defense applications. As an active member of the Autonomous Transport and Open Systems Association, Filip collaborates with international stakeholders to promote advancements in autonomous UAV technology. Filip’s experience includes Web Developer at React and Full Stack Developer at Resonanz Capital, complemented by previous work as a QA Engineer at Bosch. Education includes pursuing Bachelor's degrees in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from Technical University of Sofia and Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
