Eleanor Barnard

Eleanor Barnard joined Reactec in 2006 and has experienced first-hand the company’s growth through the development and commercialisation of its product offerings.

Eleanor was a post-doctoral research scientist before becoming a biotechnology entrepreneur, co-founding a spin-out from the University of Edinburgh that developed gene silencing technologies. After 6 years running the SME as Operations Director, she retrained as a chartered accountant. Eleanor is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) with a 20-year career in SME’s.

Eleanor brings a unique combination of financial integrity with deep rooted expertise in Reactec’s core offering to ensure the business operates to the highest standards.
