William Georges

William Georges is the Manager of Thrust Chambers at Reaction Dynamics. William has also worked as a Cryogenics Engineer at Anyon Systems Inc. from March 2017 to September 2020. There, they were tasked with designing and building cryogenic and mechanical systems tailored for quantum computing applications.

As a Cryogenics Engineer, William was responsible for designing cryogenic, high vacuum, mechanical, and electrical systems to support R&D in quantum computing. William also prepared requirements and specifications documents, took charge of projects and ensured their completion, developed manufacturing processes for specialized cryogenic components and materials, performed final assembly, testing, and debugging of new products, created models to predict performance of pumps, cryocoolers, and dilution refrigerators, and documented design decisions, procedures, and test results in wikis and technical reports. In addition, William reached out and established relations with suppliers and manufacturers, created bill of materials, and performed detailed cost estimates for projects. William also created and maintained resilient CAD modelling and PDM standards to reduce duplication of work and conflicts during the design phase. Lastly, William machined, printed, and welded small parts for prototyping and trained new hires.

William Georges is a mechanical engineer who graduated from McGill University with a Master of Engineering degree and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Honors Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Aeronautical Engineering.

They work with Adam Paul - Avionics and EGSE Lead, Tristan Teixeira - COO & Legal Counsel, and Lennie Ryer - CFO. Their manager is Bachar Elzein, CEO, CTO & Founder.
