David S. is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the renewable energy sector. Currently serving as Engineering Manager at Reactivate since December 2025, David oversees initiatives focused on community solar energy development to promote social and environmental benefits. Prior to this role, David worked as Principal Engineer - Renewables at WEC Energy Group, managing operations and maintenance engineering for a diverse portfolio of wind, solar, and battery storage assets. David's career also includes significant roles at S&C Electric Company, where management of physical engineering teams and project design were key responsibilities, and experience at ACCIONA in leading engineering functions for greenfield wind projects. David began a career in electrical engineering at Burns & McDonnell, focusing on medium voltage systems and equipment contracts. David holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Bradley University and an Associate degree in Science from Illinois Valley Community College.
