Tom Figel

Tom Figel has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Tom is currently employed as the VP of Product at Reactivate since May 2023. Prior to this, they worked at GRID Alternatives from 2013 to present, holding multiple roles including Senior Director of Policy and Business Development, Director of Community Solar, Policy & Regulatory Manager - Community Solar, Policy & Utility Relations Manager, Municipal and Utility Relations Officer, and Development Associate. Tom was also a Board Member at Colorado Solar Energy Industries Association (COSEIA) from 2018 to 2020. Additionally, Tom has worked as a Consultant in Marketing and Government Communications at WordRake in 2013, Director of Marketing at MegaBess US Inc from 2012 to 2013, and Operations Assistant at the U.S. House of Representatives from 2009 to 2010. Tom also interned at the United States Senate in 2008 and worked as an Assistant Director at Grassroots Campaigns in 2008.

Tom Figel received their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in International Studies from the University of Washington in 2007. Tom later pursued a Master's degree in Environmental Science, Policy & Management from Lund University and Central European University, completing it between 2010 and 2012.
