Marcos Santos

Marcos Santos, PhD, is a Senior Power Systems Engineer with extensive experience in power systems analysis and control development. At Newcastle University, as a Research Associate, Marcos contributed to reliability assessments and forecasting methods for energy networks. Marcos has a diverse background, including roles as a Power Systems Engineer at EngePower Engenharia e Comércio Ltda, where stability and protection studies were conducted, and at GE Vernova, involving real-time simulations and innovation projects for future power networks. Current work at Reactive Technologies Limited focuses on stability analysis and system strength measurements.
