At Reading Bike Hub CIC, we believe that cycling in Reading should be easy, accessible and joyful for everyone — whether you’re a commuter squeezing in some exercise, a parent on the school run, or a senior rediscovering the freedom of the e-bike.

Reading is a town built for short journeys. Most places are just a 15-minute cycle away. But despite this, too many people are held back by the barriers: confusion over which bike to buy, lack of safe cycling routes, difficulty maintaining a bike or the cost of making the wrong choice.

That’s where we come in.

We give old bikes new life — offering low-cost, quality bikes for anyone needing reliable transport on a budget.

A Home for the Cycling Community
We're more than a workshop. We’re a space for collaboration between local cycling groups, a place to share ideas, get support, and build a greener, healthier Reading.
