Reading Keeda Library is the flagship project of Pathimba Foundation, a not-for-profit organization. We are dedicated to fostering a love for reading beyond academics. Through libraries and outreach initiatives, we make books accessible to children, empowering them with 21st-century skills, life skills, and values.

Our vision is to create inclusive library spaces for children, regardless of age, gender, caste, community, religion, or socio-economic background. We focus on cultivating and nurturing the habit of reading for pleasure, encouraging multilingual reading and using books as a tool for holistic child development.

We aim to achieve these through our various programs :

1. Reading Keeda Library, Nagpur Centre
📖 Our physical library in Shankar Nagar, Nagpur, houses 7500+ books in English, Hindi, and Marathi, catering to children (1-18 years).
📖 A vibrant, inclusive space where children borrow books or read in the library.
📖 Engaging literary and non-literary activities like Toddler Talk, Readers' Circle, Teens’ Book Club, and Storytelling sessions.

2. Community Outreach Initiatives
✨ Bringing books to children from marginalized communities through outreach programs.
✨ Encouraging reading access beyond our library walls.

3. Kitabon Ki Duniya – Building Libraries
🏡 Supporting organizations in setting up libraries in rural and tribal areas by conducting capacity-building workshops, curating relevant book collections and providing hand-holding support.

At Reading Keeda, we truly believe that something magical happens when you read. So if you’re passionate about libraries, stories and books, let’s connect and collaborate!
