Interim Senior Legal Manager

Yolanda Young is a seasoned nonprofit executive, communications expert, and attorney with extensive experience in media and community engagement. Currently serving as Interim Senior Legal Manager at Reading Partners and as the Founder of Black Diary 1887, a mobile app celebrating Black history, Yolanda continues to innovate in the fields of legal advocacy and cultural education. Previously, as an Editorial Consultant at Rolling Out and an Opinion Writer for major outlets such as The Guardian, Yolanda has significantly contributed to public discourse and media training. With a Doctor of Law degree from Georgetown University Law Center, Yolanda has demonstrated a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout their career, notably through founding Lawyers of Color.
