David Wright

David Wright has extensive experience in material science, packaging technology, and academic teaching. Currently serving as the Technical Lead for Packaging Science and Technology at Reading Scientific Services Ltd since 2011, David oversees laboratory operations focused on customer-centric contract packaging testing. Previously, David held roles as an Associate Principal Scientist in microscopy, an Electronic/Physics Teacher at Luton Sixth Form College, and a Laboratory Technician/Sessional Lecturer at Westminster Kingsway College. David's postdoctoral research includes significant contributions at esteemed institutions such as the University of Cambridge, University of Bergen, and Cardiff University, where projects focused on drug delivery systems and the mechanical properties of soft tissues. David holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science from the University of Leicester, a Master's in Materials Engineering from the University of Greenwich, and a Bachelor's in Physics from the University of Leeds, complemented by a teaching diploma from Westminster Kingsway College.
