Jaebok Kim

Jaebok Kim is an experienced professional in the field of speech technology, currently serving as the Head of Research and Development and a speech scientist at ReadSpeaker since July 2018, focusing on developing a deep learning-based text-to-speech system. Previously, Jaebok Kim pursued a PhD at the University of Twente from July 2014 to July 2018, specializing in conversation analysis, automatic speech emotion recognition, and human-robot interaction. Experience also includes a role as a Research Engineer at LG Electronics from January 2011 to April 2014, contributing to the development of distant speech recognition for smart TVs, along with a software developer internship at KT in 2008, which involved creating robotic applications using speech recognition and text-to-speech technologies. Jaebok Kim holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Twente, an MS from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, and a Bachelor's degree from Soongsil University.
