Michael Hughes

Michael Hughes is a seasoned business leader with extensive experience in the technology and education sectors. Currently serving as Business Director for Canada at ReadSpeaker since January 2014, Michael oversees the delivery of advanced text-to-speech and document viewing services utilized globally across numerous platforms. Prior to this role, Michael was Managing Director at Hughes-SLC Consulting Inc., providing strategic advisory services to educational and game publishing firms. Michael's prior experience includes directing business development at Nelson Education Ltd., leading a $500M+ commercial business unit at Hewlett-Packard, and managing operations at AST Canada Inc. Michael holds a Master of Arts in Leadership from the University of Guelph and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Carleton University.
